Texas Holdem

• Players place required blinds or antes,
• All players receive two down cards which remain hidden until the final showdown of hands.
• A round of betting occurs after the first two cards are dealt.
• Three community cards are turned over. This is called the flop.
• A second round of betting follows.
• Fourth community card is turned over. This is called the turn.
• Third betting round.
• Fifth community is dealt. This is called the river card.
• A last round of betting.

The showdown comes when all betting has been completed.

Players make their hands by using the best five-card combination of their two best cards and the five community cards.
