Omaha hold’em

Date March 6, 2008

Omaha hold’em is another very popular variety of poker. It is similar to Texas hold’em in that players are dealt four cards and have to make best hands using two of them and three of five community cards. Omaha hold’em has many different names, such as: ‘Omaha high’, ‘Omaha Hi-Lo’ and in Europe it is most often known as ‘Omaha’. Among the most noticeable differences between Omaha hold’em and Texas hold’em is the fact that a player cannot play four or five of the cards on the board with fewer than two of his own in Omaha hold’em.
